Sinexys supplies a complete water treatment plant and a wastewater neutralization plant to a large company in Ghana.

A new Trade Mark for non-alcoholic and alcoholic energy drinks and mixed drinks is applied for under the name “NEW LEVEL” at the German Patent and Trademark Office.

The company’s name „Convena GmbH“ is renamed „ Sinexys GmbH“.

The Convena Polymers division, including trademark rights and company name, is sold to Delacamp AG, Hamburg.

The company carries out supplies of punching tools to Iran I.K.I.D Khodro Industrial Dies Co., Karaj, Iran. I.K.I.D. is a 100% subsidiary of the automobile manufacturer Iran Khodro. This is followed by deliveries to I.K.I.D with stainless steel blocks, pumps, control technology, etc

an Exclusive Importer Agreement for Mauritania is signed between MAN Truck & Bus AG, Munich and Convena GmbH. The contract provides for the supply of trucks, buses, chassis and spare parts. The contract was acquired in 2015 by Groupe WAFA SA, Nouakchott, Mauritania.

Convena GmbH becomes “Business Approved Partner” of MAN Truck & Bus AG, Munich.

Convena supplies more than 50 commercial vehicles to a Mauritanian conglomerate. The project involved customer-specific custom-made products in the field of “MAN” trucks plus special superstructure and special trailers. The configuration of the vehicles and the vehicle training was also carried out by Convena specialists.

The company is building a “Life Camp” for the Italian oil and energy group ENI S.p.A in Pointe Noire/ Rep.Congo and is supplying construction vehicles and concrete mixing plants in parallel.

The companies Convena GmbH and Inmed Medizintechnik GmbH set up the Joint Venture company INCO Mobile UG in Hamburg. The purpose is to offer Mobile MRIs and CTs to hospitals. In the same year the first trailer with a Siemens Harmony MR I was acquired and rented to hospitals.

The company is expanding its range of services to include the supply of commercial vehicles, construction machinery and equipment for the construction industry to sub-Saharan Africa. Exports are mainly to Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, Rep. Congo and Senegal.

Convena operates its subsidiary Convena Trade Finance GmbH.

Convena maintains a liaison office in Moscow for the purchase of high-performance plastics, chemicals and steel tubes, and for counter trade transactions.

The owner Jörg Ahrens founds Convena GmbH and, together with his team, builds it up into the largest independent fluoroplastics dealer in Europe. The activities of the Convena Polymers division include the procurement, trading and distribution of fluoroplastics, from granulates and powders to semi-finished products and regranulates. Convena’s own brand “CONFLON®” has become synonymous with quality in the world of fluoroplastics.
